Chapter 2: Alien Threat or Not

Time: 1043
Location: JuneGrass Secondary School

"Kuang Wen, wait leh!"
Kuang Wen, a 16 year old chinese boy, stopped and turned around to wait for his friend.
"See, eat eat eat until so fat, run also so slow. Later your tummy become so big you cannot walk."
"Aiya, won't want la. I eat little already leh, but still so big.", Ezra defended himself.
Ezra Koh, 16 years old, chinese.Studies in the same school as Kuang Wen, but in a different class. The two knew each other a year ago when Ezra got transferred into JuneGrass Secondary last year and since then, they became great friends. Even though Kuang Wen like to tease him about his belly, due to his stocky build, Ezra doesn't really mind at all. A very easy going person.

"How was your paper, which topic did you choose?"Ezra asked excitedly.
"The Casino topic, but kind of forgotten some of the key points that we discussed during tuition. By the way two soldiers saw me last night."
"HUH?!" Ezra shouted in shock.
"If you want everyone to hear our conversation, you shout louder lor.", Kuang Wen reminded Ezra sarcastically.

"Err, then how?"
"Don't know. Just hope that the matter won't blow up to the media." Kuang Wen knew very well that nobody would believe the soldiers and the carcass would proof nothing of his existence.

"Oh ya, later I'm meeting the rest of the team at my place. You coming?"
"Should be can. What time?" Ezra asked.
"3 o'clock, I'm going to help my mum buy some groceries. See you at 3 o'clock later." Kuang Wen gave Ezra a tummy rub and walked off.

Chapter 1: The Man in White.

Have you ever wondered:
Is the place you lived in really that peaceful?
Does ghosts, demons and aliens really exist?
Is there such a thing as "superpowers"?
Are things always what it seems to be?

Singapore, a small country on Planet Earth. Busy people filled the streets, minding their own business. Everyone living their lives trying to stay in-line with the government systems. The only "conflicts" seen here are people competing with each other, climbing corporate ladders. Even kids as young as 5 are competing each other in grades unknowingly. What a peaceful and stable environment.

Yet, on this little dot on Earth, there's a group of teens living a life different from the rest. Keeping their identity a secret, risking their lives for the sake of humanity and in the name of justice, these unknown heroes needs to juggle both daily school work and protecting the people everyday. Their story unfolds...

Location: Chua Chu Kang
Environment: Forest, Government Restricted Area.

A beastly shadow running swiftly through a forested area and tries to hide in the midst of darkness.

*buzz* "Have you found it?"

"Ya, I see it. But erh^, can I know the reason why am i taking this mission? Tomorrow is O-Level Chinese leh^."

From afar, under the tiny streams of moonlight darting through the canopy of the forest, a white figure stands on top of the tree branch, keeping an eye on the beastly creature as he speaking through his phone.

*buzz* "Aiya^, no choice mah^. It's a Class 1 situation and some more in restricted area, need to finish off the mission quickly. If kana^ discovered by other people, then cham^ liao^ . Among all of us, you got the most experience and u can kill it faster than the rest mah^."

"OK OK and why you talk always got buzz in front? Your phone got problem ah?"

*buzz* "Liddat got more atmosphere, like walkie talkie."

"Orh~. Then you continue talking to your friends like that lor. Bye."

The white figure stretched out his hands toward the branch his standing on and thick pieces of cloth which was wrapped thickly round his fore-arms shoots out, wrapping firmly on the branch and he jumps off the branch, lowering himself, like a spider releasing its silk to travel down the tree. The moment he reached the ground, the cloth releases its grip from the branch and coils back neatly to his forearms as though it really have life of its own. The white figure dashes towards the beastly creature. Not before long, the man in white caught up with his prey.
45mins of chasing and running, the creature is worn out and slows down.
"Alright,if you can understand me, be a good dog and i'll make it as painless as i can for you.", the man in white panting as well.
After hearing that, the creature stopped. The man in white stopped as well, letting down the cloth coiled round his arms by their ends.
"I guess your tired of running too huh."
Suddenly the creature pouches towards the man in white and launches a series of vicious attacks at him like an angry dog venting its anger on a chew toy.
The man was flung a few meters away. For a few minutes he lies on the ground motionless. The creature slowly approaches the lifeless body and then stops just 2 meters away.
"I also thought you could understand human language.", after saying this, the man reached out his right hand and the cloth darts towards the creature, warping it up like a bandaged hotdog. The creature struggles in vain. The man slowly stands up and walks towards the creature. Just then...

"Stop! Or I will shoot!"
one of the two soldiers on guard duty shouted. The soldiers then shined their torchlights relieving a teenage fully bandaged from top to bottom and a giant wolf, twice the size of a 1.7m tall adult, tied up by the bandage from the boy from his right hand.
"Oh my God... What is that?!" Both soldiers were in state of shock and was dumbfound.
"Sorry, gotta go~" the teenager in white said and yanked the bandage that tied the creature. The creature was immediately sliced up into pieces. The gruesome sight was too much for the soldiers to bear, one fainted on the spot and the other just stared at what's left of the carcass.
Not wasting any time, the teen quickly runs toward the end of the forest and makes his escape.
